It’s June first and it’s taken us this long to get open, but we are sooo excited! We have moved into a new location ( two doors down from our old one) that has given us some much needed room to grow and change. We are now located at 19 North Bridge Street in Saint Anthony, Idaho and we couldn’t be happier! Let us walk you through some of the additions and changes.
First off, we have an entirely new space that has been remodeled and branded for the InstaGear Outdoor Co. Brand. You’ll be able to find us easily as our blue and orange storefront pops amongst the other businesses on Bridge Street in St. Anthony. Once you come through the door you will see our large mountain logo painted on the back wall and a space themed exactly like we like it… totally outdoorsy! In the coming days we will finish up our last bit of organization and complete our newest attraction, a small bouldering wall for those of you who might have to wait a bit for the shuttle or those getting gear in front of you.
On top of the fresh look for our building the business is steadily growing. We have added a full retail section with everything you might need to get outside for a day. We have the essential survival gear, backpacks, fannypacks, waterbottles, dry-bags, sandals, fishing gear and bait (our kids love having a ready built worm supply), hunting essentials, camping gear, backpacking gear and more. As we continue to grow we will contiinue to expand the retail portion of the shop. In the near future we will have hunting packs, ammo, additional fishing gear, and hopefully lots of gear that you, our amazing customers, would like us to carry (we’re open to suggestions, so just let us know!)!
In addition to the retail we’ve are now a vendor for Idaho Fish and Game so we can issue hunting and fishing licenses, tags, permits and anything else you might need from them. We’ve also become a vendor for the Idaho Parks and Recreation Department and have all of their permits including OHV, ATV, Invasive Species, and more available to get you out on your adventure.
Similar to last year we also have our glamping available for anyone that would like it set up. We’ve reduced the price for our indoor event setups, so make sure to check those out for your next reunion or kiddos birthday. We will also have a permanent set up close to Del Rio Bridge here in St. Anthony that will be available for rent on Airbnb and Hipcamp… hit us up there if you’d like to glamp economically! We also have an additional location that we hope to have up come July… watch for details!
On top of all this, we are still offering our youth camp and gear repair here in the shop. Our youth camp will feature two days at the shop where we learn and practice skills and then a day out near a local pond putting them to use. As we grow we want to offer programs that our customers want to see, so let us know if there is a skill or activity that you would like to learn about! For the future we are looking at kayaking classes, adult survival classes, first aid classes, fly fishing classes, and even fly tying classes.
We are so excited to be open and running on a year round basis now. Be sure to stop in and check out the new location with all of the fresh summer gear! Don’t think we’ve forgotten about winter, the x-country skis and snowshoes are already on their way to us!
