Hi everyone! We have some new followers so it’s time we introduced who’s behind InstaGear Outdoor Rentals! Our names are Greg and McKenzie Grant and we have four awesome kids!
Greg has a Bachelors degree in Recreation Management and a Masters in Business Administration. He’s worked in a variety of fields and responsibilities. Some of these include working as an Asst. Guest Ranch Manager, Tennis Coach, and Rec Center Manager. McKenzie has a Bachelors degree in Marriage and Family Studies and uses that knowledge everyday as a wife and mom.
As parents our favorite moments with our kids are when we are creating memories, building relationships, and teaching them how to be good humans. We believe WE are best at this when we are outside adventuring.
We both grew up in Idaho and have most recently spent the last three years in Kansas with our little family. Trying to adventure in unfamiliar territory, which was mostly privately owned, was challenging but a cherished time. Finally, we decided it was time to come back home to Idaho and the beautiful land that we love with our family. Fortunately, we were able to find a job in West Yellowstone and move home. We quickly discovered it was not the job for us and our perfectly imperfect plan led us to something different. Like the saying goes, adventure starts where plans end, and InstaGear Outdoors was born. We knew we needed to help families, just like us, to make adventuring possible, so that they could thrive. This combines our passion for the outdoors and our love for people!
